My priorities as your mayor are:
-Making our city more affordable by reducing costs and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive
-Maintaining municipal tax rates
-Reducing registration fees for sports and recreation programs to give families and individuals greater access
-Sharing costs and resources with Stratford and Cornwall for stronger communities
I will work to enhance your quality of life by:
-Continuing to expand our bike paths and bus routes
-Putting pedestrian and active transportation at the heart of all future street and property development
I will keep Charlottetown strong by:
-Investing in arts and culture as a driver of economic growth, vitality and community
-Supporting activities and events that celebrate diversity and inclusion
-Ensuring the Charlottetown Farmers' Market remains a vital part of the city's economic, social and cultural life
I will ensure our facilities meet the needs of citizens by:
-Partnering on a $55M upgrade to modernize and expand the Eastlink Centre, equipping it to house up to 1,500 people in emergency situations.
-Building a new parking garage with almost 500 spaces to support our downtown business community
-Developing a regional sports infrastructure strategy with our partners
-Building a new community facility in Sherwood to meet the needs of this growing neighbourhood
